Josh Peck's Turner & Hooch Cancelled

It was said to be the answer to the question no one was asking. Now it's just a former project that Josh Peck was attached to.  Disney tweeted out a picture of Josh and Sammy to announce their re-imagining of Turner & Hooch. Back-lash was immediate. Hoards objected to the human holding a canine by the leash. Most comments were a variation of the theme below.

"The dog should have the freedom to decide if it wants to be the with the human and when. What happened to canine consent"? 

Kathleen Kennedy couldn't be reached for a comment.
